Popular tech/social media blog, Mashable, has put together a pretty comprehensive list of useful websites and services for teachers and students. As everyone heads “back to school,” we thought it wise pass along.

When done effectively, e-learning tools can be quite powerful. My favorite, though not on Mashable’s list, is JSTOR - an online collection of reputable academic journals (downloadable) that is easily searched. Most universities (and I think public libraries) have subscriptions.
